My government (the netherlands) has recently decided they are going to tax pokerwinnings as of Januari 2008. I dont have a problem with paying taxes but they want you to pay 40,85% taxes over your monthly winnings. This is totally absurd.
a group of poker-orginisations has started a petition so i urge every1 to sign the petition at http://www.pokerbond.nl/pokerpetitie/
let's hope we can get enough signatures to stop the madness!
